Ever been in a moment when you might have felt very passionately about something. So much that it had the power of disrupting the peaceful and settled life of yours. With just one strong thrust you probably wanted to break all ties and drive your passion to a state of obsession. But as quickly as this passion gets in, it leaves you with equal velocity. Reasons could be from a bank loan that needs your regular flow of income to a child who needs its mother's attention or an ailing parent who needs you with them to a social stigma created around you.
It’s a matter of time and fate that you end up in your current profession. Someone wanted to become an army officer and drove her parents nuts since her eight grade just to get her hands on those SSC prep books. She learnt Karate and Horse riding just to gain that extra something which the selectors would probably notice when she gives her physical exam.
After 10 years of passing out her high school she is a Team lead in an IT firm. Has a wonderful marriage, good money, a big House, a sedan and a great job, nothing that she can actually complain off, though every day is a challenge as it’s a literal fight to prove yourself better than your peers to be able to survive in the rat race.
Then why there is emptiness somewhere. After almost one and a half year, even today her heart is torn to pieces when she sees the video of Shilpa Rao sing 'Ek Lau' against the backdrop of Mumbai terrorist attack.
On one hand she thanked god that she was on a train on her way back to Pune when the German Bakery was struck. And then the next instance she penalizes herself for not joining the army as it is always better to be on the field and help then sit at home and sigh! What an irony!! She and her class mate had fixed German bakery as their place of reunion after 10 years.
The Hollowness is killing. The incapability is so disrupting that you want to break free. And then the best thing that could ever happen. She learns to write her mind out.
So here is my blog site dedicated to everything that I feel strongly about.
