Robin

The old man had to move to a new place
Leaving back his two pets of Alsatian race
Browno and Richards they were named
A set of huge dogs but well trained.
They kept a watch of the society
Reducing theft and notoriety

One fine day we saw Browno at our gate
Along with three pups but without his mate
The mother had died while giving birth
Leaving behind Jade, Robin and Kirth
Dad gave away two pups to the Vet
But I got to keep Robin as my pet

I had found my best friend in him
And I loved to keep him well trimmed
He would wait for me to return from School
To lick my face with his drool
He would wag his tail till I finished my work
And then he would get his favorite perk

Running around the lawn with the toss ball
Till he jumps over me and makes me fall
The game would go on for hours together
Nothing would stop us not even a bad weather
I have grown up and I am sure he did too
So with this poem I just want to say 'Thank You'.
